Turquoise Coast: 7, 10 and 14 Day Itineraries

Allocate 6, 9 or 13 real nights between Antalya and Dalaman. Bodrum and Datça get a separate western route instead of extra rushed transfers.

Orientation

Plan your stay

A week suits one coast section. The ten-day route links Antalya, Çıralı, Kaş and Fethiye with departure from Dalaman. Fourteen days add Fethiye time and a Dalyan stay.

Bodrum and Datça are not casual additions to that plan. The Aegean alternative replaces the eastern section with a route from Dalaman to Bodrum.

Alex Travels
Alex's Take

I would settle the two airports and one-way rental first, then allocate nights. An evening arrival is not a full Antalya day, and a coast drive does not create a free beach afternoon.

Planning notes

Avoid These Common Mistakes

Counting nights as full travel days

Ten days including arrival and departure contain nine nights, not ten full sightseeing days.

Appending Bodrum to every route

The western section replaces other bases or needs extra days and a matching departure flight.

Putting a boat trip directly before a flight

Departure needs a separate land transfer; boat return times can change.

Travel planning answers

Planning questions

What fits into seven days?+

Antalya two nights, Kaş three and Antalya one return night. Day 7 is departure day.

Is Çıralı included in ten days?+

Yes: nights 3–4 in Çıralı give one full day for the beach and Olympos.

Where does the ten-day route finish?+

After two Fethiye nights, day 10 takes you to Dalaman Airport. Antalya is not the assumed return airport.

How do Bodrum and Datça fit?+

Use the western fourteen-day alternative: Fethiye3, Dalyan3, Datça4 and Bodrum3 nights. Omit Antalya, Çıralı and Kaş.

Do I need a car?+

It helps with flexible beach visits and base changes. It can wait during Antalya; check one-way fees, return hours and any Datça ferry permission before booking.

What does the sample trip cost?+

The explicitly hypothetical ten-day, nine-night example totals EUR 2,320 for two adults, or EUR 1,160 each, excluding international flights and one-way rental surcharges.

Worth it / Skip if

Worth it

For deliberately allocated nights, separate boat days and airports that match the coast route.

Skip if

You want to sleep beside a different bay every night; these plans favour longer stays in each base.

With kids

The seven-day route has two main bases and one return night. On the ten-day route, omit Çıralı and give one of its two nights each to Kaş and Fethiye for fewer hotel changes.

Guide details

Seven days: Antalya and Kaş with a return night

  • Day 1: Arrive in Antalya; first night.
  • Day 2: Kaleiçi and one selected city beach; second Antalya night.
  • Day 3: Drive to Kaş for the first of three nights.
  • Day 4: Kekova excursion with a confirmed boarding location.
  • Day 5: One beach or time in Kaş; third Kaş night.
  • Day 6: Return to Antalya and stay the final night.
  • Day 7: Airport transfer, car return and departure.

That totals six nights: Antalya2 + Kaş3 + Antalya1. The return journey is a driving day; the final night does not turn Kaş into an airport suburb. If landing in Dalaman instead, an alternative is four Fethiye nights and two Dalyan nights, omitting Antalya entirely.

Ten days: give Çıralı an actual stay

Nights 1–2 are in Antalya. Drive to Çıralı on day 3 and stay nights 3–4. Day 4 is for the beach and a focused Olympos visit: the ancient site at the southern beach end is a separate visit with admission and current opening times to check. Respect marked nesting areas on the beach.

Move to Kaş on day 5 for nights 5–7. Give day 6 to Kekova and day 7 to a beach or town time. Move to Fethiye on day 8 for nights 8–9. Your only full day there, day 9, is for Ölüdeniz or a boat excursion, not two separate full-day programmes. Day 10 takes you to Dalaman Airport.

All nine nights are allocated: 2 + 2 + 3 + 2. For fewer hotel changes, remove Çıralı and add one night each to Kaş and Fethiye. The total remains nine.

Fourteen days: more Fethiye time, then Dalyan

Keep Antalya2, Çıralı2 and Kaş3. Fethiye now gets nights 8–10, giving two full days. Transfer to Dalyan on day 11 for nights 11–13. One day is for the river and İztuzu; the other is for a separate Kaunos visit. Day 14 is the Dalaman airport transfer and departure.

The count is 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 13 nights. Bodrum and Datça are not included. If boat weather moves an excursion, another visit has to go; an already booked day is not an extra buffer.

A separate western route from Dalaman

For an Aegean itinerary, use nights 1–3 Fethiye, 4–6 Dalyan, 7–10 Datça and 11–13 Bodrum. Change bases on days 4, 7 and 11, then depart Milas–Bodrum on day 14. Datça has three full days for Knidos, a bay and spare time. Bodrum has two for castle/town and beach.

Datça and Bodrum connect by the date-dependent Körmen ferry or the road via Marmaris. Settle that connection, vehicle permission and return office before accommodation. This version omits Antalya, Çıralı and Kaş; it does not combine two complete coast itineraries.

Airports, driving and an auditable budget

Check each transfer for the actual day, including breaks, luggage, check-out and hotel access. A nonstop navigation estimate is not available sightseeing time. Flights into Antalya and out of Dalaman, or out of Milas–Bodrum, must work with the one-way rental. For an early flight, a final night nearer the airport may replace the last town night.

As a calculation exercise for two adults, ten days and nine nights: rooms 9 × EUR 100 = EUR 900 shared; ten charged rental days × EUR 45 = EUR 450; food 10 × EUR 60 = EUR 600 shared; fuel and parking EUR 150; admissions EUR 80; one boat tour 2 × EUR 70 = EUR 140. Total: EUR 2,320 together, EUR 1,160 each or EUR 116 per person per travel day.

Every input is a disclosed assumption, not a current quotation. International flights, a one-way surcharge, vehicle ferries and additional tours are excluded. Replace each figure with your offers and check charged rental days against pickup and return times. The broad daily bands above likewise use a per-person basis for two adults sharing a room and car.
