Andalusia Road Trip Itinerary: 5, 7 and 10 Days

5 days from one base, 7 adding Granada or 10 with Ronda: complete 4/6/9-night plans, clear airports and a deliberately short rental-car section.

Five days without changing hotels

• Day 1 arrive Seville, night 1.
• Day 2 Alcázar and Santa Cruz, Seville night 2.
• Day 3 Córdoba train day trip, return for Seville night 3.
• Day 4 cathedral or Triana, Seville night 4.
• Day 5 fly from Seville.

Book the Córdoba return train before admission. Granada is deliberately omitted, leaving two Seville days without intercity travel.

Seven days: Seville, Córdoba and Granada

• Day 1 arrive Seville; day 2 one full city day; day 3 Córdoba day trip. Three Seville nights.
• Day 4 train to Granada and short city walk, first Granada night.
• Day 5 Alhambra at the booked time, second Granada night.
• Day 6 transfer to Málaga for one final night.
• Day 7 fly from Málaga; omit Ronda, Cádiz and Jerez.

The nights total 3 + 2 + 1 = 6. Seville has only one full city day here because Córdoba occupies the other; choose one major interior. Renfe lists Avant connections between these cities; check the actual direct service and disruptions for your dates.

Ten days and a useful rental section

• Day 1 arrive Seville; day 2 Alcázar; day 3 cathedral/Triana. Three Seville nights.
• Day 4 Córdoba and Mezquita, one Córdoba night.
• Day 5 to Granada; day 6 Alhambra. Two Granada nights.
• Day 7 collect car and drive to Ronda; day 8 Setenil or more Ronda. Two Ronda nights.
• Day 9 to Málaga for one final night; day 10 return car and fly.

3 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 9 nights. Granada pickup and Málaga return require checking one-way fees and station hours. To substitute Cádiz/Jerez, replace Ronda with three Atlantic nights and extend the trip for the necessary transfer/overnight day; do not force both detours into these ten days.
